How do I choose the right horn for me?

Pick the horn that runs on a battery you already own.

Runs on your existing tool batteries — the same packs as your drill or impact driver. No new batteries to buy or throw away: cheaper for you, easier on the planet.

The brand changes nothing about the horn. Every horn uses the exact same internal and external parts — so a Quad is a Quad and a Dual is a Dual. They sound and perform identically across every battery brand; you give up zero sound or power.

No cordless tools yet? Go with DeWalt®, Milwaukee® or Ryobi® — they give you the widest range of tools to buy later on the very same batteries.

Which horn is the loudest?

Our loudest sit at the top — here's how the lineup ranks:

1. Boss Series — our newest (2026) and most refined; it reworks the older Extreme design and fixes its weak spots. Its older sibling, the Extreme Series, sits right alongside it.

2. Quad — four trumpets, big full sound.

3. Dual — the 2026 Dual shares the Boss design, and it's the one to pick if your battery brand isn't covered by the Boss Series yet.

Skip the 5-trumpet. The on-board compressor can't push enough air for all five trumpets, so it ends up thinner and higher-pitched than it should.

Do I need a drill — or does it come with one?

No drill needed — and none included.

Ships fully built and ready to use — nothing to assemble, no tools required.

The only thing you add is a battery — the same cordless-tool pack your drill already uses.

Snap it in, pull the trigger — and it roars in seconds.

Why these horns own the rally lot

  • 150 dB of freight-train thunder that rolls clear across a packed rally lot — the kind of blast every rider in the staging area feels in their chest.
  • Wireless remote from up to 2,000 ft on select models, so you can light up the whole pack from across the campground without reaching for the bike.
  • Recharges off your cordless-drill battery — never dies halfway through a three-day rally, and there are no air cans to keep buying.
  • Pre-built and grab-and-go — zero install, nothing wired into the motorcycle, ready before the kickstands even go up.
  • Deep, low locomotive tone that cuts through revving pipes and bike-week noise instead of getting swallowed by it.

Make the entrance

A train horn that rides with the pack

Nothing announces the crew like a deep, rolling blast as the bikes thunder into the lot. A train horn for motorcycle rallies turns your arrival into the signal everyone hears — the moment the pack knows it's go time.

Pull it when the group forms up, when riders are scattered across the campground, or when it's time to call the meetup back to the kickstands. One blast cuts straight through revving engines, music and a few hundred bikes idling at once.

Know the rules

Are train horns allowed at a biker rally?

Short version: keep it off the open road. Many states restrict aftermarket air and train horns on motorcycles in public traffic, and riders can pull tickets for honking through town — so this is not a horn to lean on while riding in public.

Where it belongs is the rally itself: the parking and staging lots, the campground, fairground meetups, private event grounds and group-ride gathering points. That's your stage — use it to rally the pack, mark the start, and own the lot on the right side of local sound and traffic rules. Always check the event's and the venue's policies first.

The numbers

How loud does a rally horn need to be?

Stock motorcycle horns sit around 100–110 dB and vanish against a lot full of idling bikes. Handheld train-horn-style kits run from 110 to 150 dB, and the horns in this collection reach up to 150 dB — a low, locomotive-grade blast you feel as much as hear.

Use it responsibly. 150 dB is genuinely loud, so point the trumpets at open space, never blast near anyone's ears, helmets, kids or pets, and stick to short bursts. Loud is the whole point — just aim it where it won't catch a bystander off guard.

No air system

How a drill-battery train horn works

No compressor. No air tank. Nothing spliced into the motorcycle's wiring. These horns use an on-board air pump and real metal trumpets, so the whole rig is self-contained and packs into a saddlebag or tail bag.

Power comes from a cordless-drill battery you probably already have in the garage — slide it into the base (compatible with Milwaukee® M18™, DeWalt® 20V MAX, Makita® 18V LXT® and Ryobi® ONE+® packs and more), hit the trigger, and let it roar. Select models add a remote that works from up to 2,000 ft, so you can fire a blast from clear across the rally grounds. When the pack runs low, recharge it just like your drill.

Buying guide

Choosing the right horn for the ride

Every rally crew runs a little different — here's how to match a horn to yours:

  • Trumpet count. Single, dual and quad-trumpet kits stack the tone — more trumpets mean a fuller, richer blast.
  • Tone style. Go for a LOUDEST trumpet setup for maximum punch, or LOW TONE for that deep freight-train growl that carries.
  • Remote range. Long-range remote models fire from up to 2,000 ft — ideal for big campgrounds and spread-out staging lots.
  • Battery brand match. Pick the model that takes the drill packs you already carry, so you're never hunting for power mid-rally.
  • Grab-and-go. With no tank or compressor, it lives in the saddlebag and tops up between rides.

Pack list

Your rally-day horn checklist

  • Charge the battery the night before — the same packs as your cordless drill.
  • Stash the horn and remote in your saddlebag or tail bag; test the trigger before you roll out.
  • Pick your blast zone at the lot — open space, away from ears, helmets, kids and pets.
  • Know the rally rules so the horn stays on the grounds and off public traffic.
  • Blast on cue — the pack rolling in, the group forming up, and the call back to the kickstands.

Motorcycle rally train horns — FAQ

Are train horns allowed at motorcycle rallies?
On the rally grounds — parking and staging lots, campgrounds, fairgrounds and private event areas — they're a great way to rally the pack, as long as the event allows them. On public roads it's different: many states restrict aftermarket air and train horns on motorcycles in traffic, so keep it off the open road and check the venue's policy first.
How loud is the horn?
These train-horn-style kits run from 110 to 150 dB, and the models in this collection reach up to 150 dB — a deep, locomotive-grade blast that carries across a packed rally lot. Point it at open space, keep blasts short, and never aim it near ears, helmets, kids or pets.
Do I need an air compressor or tank?
No. There's no compressor, no air tank and no wiring into the motorcycle. An on-board air pump and real metal trumpets are built right in, so the whole unit is self-contained and packs into a saddlebag.
Which drill batteries does it work with?
It runs on common cordless-drill batteries — compatible with Milwaukee® M18™, DeWalt® 20V MAX, Makita® 18V LXT® and Ryobi® ONE+® packs and more. Pick the model that matches the batteries you already own.
How far does the remote reach?
Select models include a wireless remote that works from up to 2,000 ft, so you can set off a blast from across a big campground or staging lot without walking back to your bike.
Can I use it on a group ride to keep the pack together?
It's built for the gathering points — meetups, staging areas and rest stops where you're forming up or calling riders back. It's not meant for honking while riding in public traffic, where local rules often restrict aftermarket horns. Use it at the stops, not on the road.
Is 150 dB safe to use?
It's loud, so treat it with respect. Aim the trumpets at open space and away from people, use short bursts, and never fire it close to anyone's ears, helmet or to children and pets. Responsible use keeps it fun for the whole rally.
How do I recharge it?
Exactly like your power tools — recharge the cordless-drill battery on its charger and slide it back in. When it runs low over a multi-day rally, swap in a fresh pack and keep going.
How fast does it ship?
Orders placed before 2 PM PT ship the same business day, so your horn can be packed and ready before the next rally weekend.
